Dr Martens x Lazy Oaf

Since one of you already got in touch with me on Instagram to tell me how much you loved these boots when they launched on Thursday, I reckon this is going to be something you really like! Dr Martens has once more teamed up with London label Lazy Oaf on some limited edition boots, and here they are!

Both Pairs

With their double platform height they’re pretty tall for flats, but I reckon it’s just about still acceptable for En Brogue! The two styles are a mirror of each other, with the black featuring a pink heart on the heel, and the pink versions the corresponding black. They’re already flying, so nab a pair quick if you fancy them before it’s too late!

10 years of Happy Socks

Happy Socks turns 10 this month! So I thought I would use the occasion to have a look at these lovely images from the new Hysteria campaign. Hysteria is the Happy Socks premium line; the socks might be more expensive, but the designs are distinctly high end – the perfect partners for a pair of evening shoes.

I love the use of block colours, as well as thin, transparent fabrics that are great to wear all year round. I also love the use of a retro yellow sofa and matching kitchen in these photographs! You can see the new season from Hysteria here.

3 of the best…vaguely Easter-related shoes

Happy Easter weekend, everyone! Now, I don’t celebrate this holiday in a religious sense, but I do celebrate the arrival of spring. I think spring is almost my favourite month (I love being at the beach and swimming in the sea IN THE UK, so summer just about tops it) – it’s always a thrill to welcome the arrival of flowers and greenery after winter, and the birds always sound so happy about it, too. So here are three pairs of shoes that sum this time of year up nicely. Because, why not?!
