More Millennial pink sneakers, and the rest of this week’s Shoes news

Rediscovering: Clae

Years and years ago, in an attempt to wean him off his Nike Air Max addiction, I bought Mr Brogue a pair of high tops from a brand called Clae which I found in Size? on Carnaby Street. And it worked: shortly after that point he started mixing it up by wearing Clarks desert boots again, and a few years later he got heavily in Grenson. I’ve got nothing against Nike Air Max but you know, variety is the spice of life.

En Brogue wearing Clae

Anyway, I had never thought of Clae for myself but this week I discovered that they do some lovely styles for women. Admittedly, not all of their styles go down to smaller sizes, but I’m rather taken with this pair in a shade of, you guessed it, Millennial pink! Or pickled ginger, as you know I prefer to call it. You can see the full collection at

Also, while we are on the subject of Size?, I’ve heard some exciting news about the store which I will be able to share with you soon!

3 of the best…striped shoes

I even painted my toenails bright yellow yesterday which I have to say, I’m still not sure about. These striped shoes though? I’m into it.
