Grenson’s new sneakers (!!!) and the rest of this week’s Shoes News

Grenson’s Tim Little launches a range of sneakers (swoon!)

You guys know how much I love Grenson, right? Enough to name my dog after the brand so, like, a silly amount! Well, things just got really exciting because to celebrate Tim Little’s 20th year at the brand (he’s the brains behind transforming this heritage company into the contemporary label we all love now), he’s released these amazing sneakers. Now, I had a little panic when they launched online on Wednesday, because not only were there only two women’s styles, but the ones with the yellow sole had already sold out in my size. And they are AMAZING! I NEED THEM! Thankfully, I spoke to the lovely people at Grenson and they assure me that not only are more sizes coming, but loads more styles too. ALL OF THESE STYLES ARE FOR WOMEN! I don’t have more details about launch dates at the mo but will update you when I do. In the meantime, you can shop the first styles in the Tim Little x Grenson collection here or just enjoy looking at these splendid shoes…

UPDATE: The grey nubuck with lemon, white leather with blue sole and black leather with lemon have just gone on sale!

Rogues’ new season ‘Birdie’ shoes

‘Birdie’, £199,

There have been a few new shoe brands with women at the helm that I’ve written about since I started this blog four years ago, and I love seeing them all grow and flourish. One such brand is Rogues, which started life when its founder, Katie, wanted to make brogue-style shoes that were as comfortable as trainers (you can read my original post on Rogues here). The new summer collection launches online today and there’s one style in particular that has really caught my eye: Birdie. With its kiltie fringe and feather detailing, these white dress shoes really are the epitome of a statement!
