This week I shot the final instalment of my Clarks advertorials in Manchester. These shoots have been really great fun, and I know lots of you have bought Clarks shoes as a result of seeing them here on the blog! It’s always great to hear about your purchases. Has anyone seen the first shoot out in October’s InStyle yet? Keep your eyes peeled in store too as the advertorials are displayed in there as well (I couldn’t help blurting out “that’s me!” to a sales assistant in the Regent Street store the other day!).

Anyway, the theme this time is festive, but of COURSE I’m not wearing heels. I managed to wangle three pairs of stylish flats to wear instead. The first pair might look familiar – Hotel Chic – as I wore them for the first shoot, but they are so perfect for party season that I just had to wear them again. I really love these shoes, and for those of you that haven’t bought a pair (yet!) I can tell you they are incredibly comfortable.

Next up are these snazzy leopard print brogues called Hamble Oak. This outfit is a bit mental but I love it! I think the clash of tartan with leopard works really well. I even got a bit overexcited and did a little tap dance in the street in these ones, which unfortunately the videographer caught on camera…

Finally, and possibly my favourite of all the Clarks shoes I’ve tried recently, these Hamble Park double monks. My shoe collection is seriously lacking in monks, so I’m delighted that the lovely people at Clarks very kindly let me keep this pair. I love how the stylist put them with a leather skirt here. Mixing masculine shoes with feminine clothes always looks great, I think.
You can watch a behind the scenes video of the first Clarks shoot here.
Now, here’s looking forward to what Clarks have in store for us for SS14!

  1. I bloody love Clarks, they’ve always been great quality but they’ve really got it together on the style front in the last few years, also I can afford them – its a winning combination!

  2. Hi Hannah, lovely pictures. The first pair are on my wish list. I wondered where the burgundy coat you are wearing in the picture is from?
